Android H.264. The video codec that most camera apps on android smartphones record in by default, google says that h.265/hevc can. Please fix it in next android 11 update.

I'm having a very difficult time with mediacodc. You have to mux your audio track and your video track together using mediamuxer to produce a.mp4 file (.mp4 will be the container wich contains your video and audio tracks that must be synchronized), h264 is a video format which contains a frame sequence,no audio is included. Make sure you are your are downloading the correct version of the meye app, because in playstore there are other similar apps. Download the app that is developed by meyetech.

If you need h.264 you should test for prepare failed and either tell the user that the device is not supported or better block devices without h.264 using market filters. To access the h264 dvr directly on your mobile phone, go to the playstore and install the app.
